 rophets and Writings” is the theme of a new course offered by the Diocese 
 of the Midwest Catechist and Diaconal Vocations Program.</p>\n<p>Sessions 
 will be held at Christ the Savior Church\, Chicago\, and Saint Makarios Mi
 ssion\, Hyde Park\, from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. beginning Saturday\, Decembe
 r 1\, 2012. The course will give special emphasis to the Pentateuch\, Deut
 eronomic History\, the Prophets from the Neo-Assyrian\, Neo-Babylonian\, a
 nd Persian periods\, and Psalms\, Wisdom\, and Daniel.</p>\n<p>Matushka Re
 becca Luft and Mr. Eric Jobe\, Ph.D. candidates and biblical scholars\, wi
 ll teach the course\, the second in the program cycle. New as well as ongo
