Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of East Meadows\, New York invi tes you to become part of their Christian Kitchen\, which is a ministry de dicated to fulfilling Matthew 25 and is made up of volunteers who donate c lothing\, items of need\, and their time to make sandwiches\, soup\, desse rts\, refreshments and then distribute the fruit of their labors to men an d women who are poor and/or live on the streets of Long Island and Manhatt an.
\nWednesdays (Tuesdays during Great Lent)\nThe Christian Kitchen gathers on Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 pm (un
less there are divine services scheduled
\nthat day) to prepare meals
for distribution that evening. At 7 pm\, a van is packed with t
he meals before heading out to feed those in need in Manhattan.

\nThe Chri stian Kitchen will gladly prepare food for parishioners who are sick or ha ve need. If you know of someone in need\, contact Father Martin or Dennis e Kraus. Donations can be made anonymously to support this worthwhile prog ram\, and the Christian Kitchen can also deliver meals to those in need wh en most convenient for you.
