God’s Extended Hand (GEH) is a rescue mission….the mission has historically been open 6 days a week, allowing the staff a day off on Wednesdays. Through our partnership with GEH, FOCUS San Diego brings Orthodox Christians together to provide dinner for those in need on the one night each week that it was previously not served.
Each Wednesday Evening we serve meals to the homeless and poor of San Diego through FOCUS San Diego. Dinner is served to 90 to 115 homeless or otherwise needy individuals. We would love to have your help with this important work. Please contact us for more information. Every Wednesday, we need some extra volunteers. This is a great opportunity for our parishioners to get involved in this life-changing ministry.
