Join us at Pre-Sanctified Liturgy, Wednesday, April 5th & 26th
 Orthodoxy on Tap if for all college students and young adults. This ministry is a chance for us to meet and talk about our faith in a social environment. Meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday and fourth Tuesday of the each month.  During Lent we are attending Pre-Sancitified Liturgy followed by a Lenten Pot-Luck and discussion.  Liturgy begins at 6:30 pm.  Please join us!

FOCA 2017 National Basketball Tournament: Weirton, V
Apr 28 – Apr 30 all-day

Hosted by the Weirton Orthodox Christian Fellowship, FOCA Chapter #58. The Tournament will be a Tristate affair. Almost Heaven West Virginia is where you will find your accommodations at the Holiday Inn, Weirton; and the Divine Services will be held at St. Nicholas Church in Weirton, West Virginia. The games will be played across the Ohio River at Steubenville Big Red High School. Finally, the banquet and dance will be held across the border at the Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse in Pennsylvania.

WHO?        13 years old through College Students

WHERE?    We will meet at 5pm on Friday and stay Friday and Saturday nights. at    S  The service learning weekend will come to a close following Liturgy on Sunday.

COST?        A registration gift of $165 a person will cover all trip expenses, make it possible for the YES Program to prepare and execute the trip, and enable our service team to meet the needs of those we serve.

The Eleventh Annual Diaconal Liturgical Practicum of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) will be held  on the campus of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in Yonkers, NY. The four-day program will offer intense practical liturgical training for deacons and lay diaconal candidates. Sessions begin late evening on Sunday, June 25, and end after the celebration of the Divine Liturgy on Wednesday, June 28.

Invitation to Join the Liturgical Choir for the Pan-Orthodox Glorification of St. Mardarije: Libertyville, IL

His Grace Bishop Longin has appointed Peter Jermihov (www.peterjermihov.com), a well-known conductor and Orthodox church musician, to lead the Liturgical Choir for this historic Sunday Hierarchical Liturgy. Bishop Longin has asked His Episcopal Choir to contact the choirs and choir directors of all of our Serbian Orthodox parishes in the Midwest to recommend singers for this special Liturgical Choir. Please send the names and email addresses of the singers that you have chosen to participate to the email below by or before Pascha/Easter, April 16.  Thereafter, we will provide these singers with the sheet music, along with information regarding the rehearsal schedule, which will consist of three (3) Saturday practices.

Please lend your voice to the glorification of St. Mardarije, whose canonization is truly a blessing for all Orthodox Christians, especially for our Serbian Orthodox Church and for his beloved St. Sava Monastery!With the Blessing of His Grace Bishop Longin and on Behalf of His Episcopal Choir.
