Choosing a Teenage Patron Saint
Jul 31 all-day

With the Blessing of the Council of Bishops, the Offices of Youth & Young Adult Ministry would like to announce choosing a patron saint for the youth of our Archdiocese. This program is designed to give our youth the opportunity to learn about teenage saints of the church and use their voice in selecting one of them to intercede on their behalf with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Beginning June 15, 2015 the lives of saints Julianna of Olshansk, Christina of Tyre, Julian of Tarsus and Ihor of Chernihiv will be made available on the OYM website. We ask that the youth prayerfully consider who should be their patron. Voting may be done on-line at the same place as the saints lives. Youth may also vote while attending any of the summer camping programs being held this summer at All Saints Camp. Last day for voting is September 5, 2015. The patron saint for our youth will be announced by our Hierarchs at All Saints Camp during the Family Fest encampment.

We ask that you keep our youth in your prayers as they make this important decision. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office with any questions or the project. For more information: http://www.uocyouth.org/patronsaint.html

The bursaries range in value from £50 to £200 and may cover all of part of the Registration and Programming Fee, accommodation and meals. Please note that no travel grants are available. Bursary applicants opting for the student/retired/unwaged registration fee should send proof of status separately, via fax or post. Please see here – http://www.leeds.ac.uk/ims/imc/contact.html – for our contact details.

Aug 22 all-day

Join us on Saturday, August 22 for the fourth-annual Saint Andrew’s Camp bike ride fundraiser! Save the date and register today for a charity ride that shows off the beautiful scenery of central New York. This year’s ride has 3 distances to suit the needs of riders of all experiences. Friends can enter the event as a ‘team’ and receive discounted group rates as listed above. During the registration process, the first member of your group to register will create the ‘team’ and give it a name. Subsequent ‘team’ members will join the team when they register. We hope that you will join us in support of the camp and for a day of athletic achievement and fun. Grow your athletic abilities and engage your friends as you close out the end of the summer!

Accommodations are available on the camp premises for $30 per night, available Friday, August 21 and/or Saturday, August 22. There will be a free pasta dinner for registrants and donors staying overnight on the evening before the bike ride on Friday, August 21 at 7pm.
