FOCUS 2017 Summer Feeding Program
Jun 1 – Sep 5 all-day
FOCUS 2017 Summer Feeding Program @ Varied

This summer, through our Summer Feeding Program, FOCUS will serve thousands of meals across the country. And this is just the beginning. We hope to expand this program each year to new cities and sites using our core methodology of providing high quality, nutritious meals to children when they need it the most. Of course, we can’t do this without your help.

To accomplish this goal, we need you! Join FOCUS’ strong network of Orthodox parishes and volunteers across the country to serve children in need this summer. FOCUS will provide all necessary program oversight, staffing, insurance coverage and all food items. We encourage you, your family and your parish to get actively involved! If you do not live in one of the cities listed above, consider bringing a group from your parish to one of our target cities. Your group will help serve children during the day and then you will be free to explore the city or assist with other hands-on FOCUS projects.

2017 National Youth Ministry Conference: San Francisco, CA
Jun 21 – Jun 25 all-day
2017 National Youth Ministry Conference: San Francisco, CA @ Not provided at this time

You are cordially invited to our 2017 National Youth Ministry Conference.   Our Theme will be: “Living Icons: Seeing The Image of God In Those Around Us!” With the assistance of the local parishes there, the Conference high-point will certainly be the venerating of the relics of the Blessed St. John Maximovitch at the Cathedral.

But we need your help: if you can, send at least one, but better yet, two high-school students, age 14-17, to this awesome event, it would make the Conference this year one of the best ever. If you are unsure of what the Youth Conference is all about, please contact your YM Representative within your Diocese (Committee members listed below), or visit our Youth Ministry link at our Serbian Orthodox Church Website.

This will be the Twelfth Year of the National Youth Conferences, but the first time that our youth will have the opportunity to venerate relics of a beloved Saint in our country, so we are excited that this will truly be a memorable experience. In the near future, your parish will be receiving additional correspondence providing more details, as well as guidance on how to register.
