A CELTIC PILGRIMAGE TO IONA @ England & Ireland
We shall visit some of the most remote and authentic places connected with early Celtic Christianity. Some of these places have been uninhabited for centuries, with no touristic or religious routes linking them to other destinations. The pilgrimages organized by the Monastery are the only way one can visit these isles and pray to the Saints who lived here. Our Pilgrimages are not touristic journeys to the Hebrides, but spiritual opportunities to experience the presence of God in some of the oldest and most authentic Christian places in Western Europe. As far as possible, we shall celebrate the Divine Liturgy daily. In each place we shall visit, we shall pray together to the local Celtic Saints (Saints Columba, Oren, Kenneth, Patrick, Brigid, Brendan, Ninian etc), but we shall always put time aside for private prayer, so that we may wander on our own and allow these holy places to speak[...]

Tiffany Icon Windows Exhibit: Clinton, MA @ The Museum of Russian Icons | Clinton | Massachusetts | United States
“In Company with Angels: Seven Rediscovered Tiffany Windows” “Angels Representing Seven Churches,” the central element of this exhibit, are a set of free-standing, eight-foot tall, windows created by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1902 at Tiffany Studios in New York City. Originally commissioned for a church in Cincinnati, the seven windows depict angels which are almost life-size, illustrating passages from the Bible’s Book of Revelation. Although they form a set, each angel, named according to their Biblical reference, has different characteristics—and their own personality—depicted in glass through the artistry of Tiffany Studio.  On view July 14 through October 16, 2016 For more information: http://museumofrussianicons.org/en/special-exhibits/upcoming/

Project Mexico Home-building @ Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage | Chula Vista | California | United States
Since 1988, Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage has been building secure, safe and weather-tight homes for some of the most impoverished families in northern Mexico. Built strictly by volunteer labor, these homes provide families economic security and hope for a brighter future. While serving these families, the volunteers discover that they have been transformed. Through their service to others, they realize that they have received much more than they had given. To date, we have hosted well over 11,000 volunteers on our 16 acre ranch as we continue to humbly bear the burdens of others in the name of Christ. Week of August 19-25 also has available slots.
