The 2013 annual meeting of the AAR will feature a number of sections that relate to Orthodox Christianity. The Eastern Orthodox Studies section and the Middle Eastern Christianity section both may be of interest to Orthodox scholars, and the Anthropology of Religion section will feature a panel concerned with material culture, ethnicity, and race relations in Eastern Christianity.
