Assistant of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston suddenly resigned

Sophia Nibi, executive administrative assistant of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston suddenly resigned on September 1 after 27 years of service. She did not return a telephone message TNH left at her residence and her resignation was announced the same day a letter was sent to the clergy and faithful of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis by Metropolitan Methodios.
Priests who spoke to TNH on the condition of anonymity said that “the departure of Sophia Nibi from the Metropolis creates a huge void [that will disrupt]the smooth daily operation of the Metropolis of Boston.”
