    FOCUS Los Angeles and Phoenix

At a special meeting of the Board of Directors of FOCUS North America on Monday, September 9, 2023, the Board unanimously designated two new Centers: FOCUS Los Angeles and FOCUS Phoenix.

This decision marks the launch of the tenth and eleventh FOCUS operating divisions. It follows the launch of FOCUS Atlanta and FOCUS Philadelphia, which the Board officially designated in June.

”I am excited and inspired by the enthusiasm we continue to see in Orthodox Communities across the United States for FOCUS’s mission and purpose,” said Brian Bullard, Chairman of FOCUS North America Board of Directors. “We welcome these two new centers to FOCUS and look forward to the Los Angeles and Phoenix centers becoming pan-Orthodox communities united in service to their brethren in need.”

“In 2023, we saw 40% growth in our Centers as we went from 5 to 7,” said Steven Christoforou, Interim Executive Director of FOCUS North America. “So far this year, we’ve seen almost 60% growth as we’ve gone from 7 to 11. Orthodox Christians across the Nation are eagerly answering God’s call to serve, and FOCUS is bringing people together to see and serve Christ in their neighbors. Glory to God!”
