The Orthodox Christian Attorney Network (OCAN) is pleased to announce its establishment as a formal nonprofit corporation, marking a significant milestone in its journey to minister to Orthodox attorneys and serve the Orthodox Church at large.
Recognizing the great potential for serving the Orthodox Church, OCAN now seeks to take its ministry to the next level. Its new mission is to inspire Orthodox attorneys to live out their lives and careers fully for Christ, to serve and fortify the Orthodox Church, and to make a positive impact on our nation and the world.
Ken Liu, OCAN’s founder and new Executive Director expressed his enthusiasm for the organization’s future, stating, “As we embark on this new chapter, we’re excited to make a tangible difference in the lives of Orthodox attorneys, in the Orthodox Church, and beyond, all for the sake of Christ.”
OCAN’s new Board of Directors reflects the diversity of the Orthodox community, with attorneys representing multiple jurisdictions, geographic areas, career stages, and practice areas.
Guided by its core values of being Christ-centered, pan-Orthodox, dedicated to service, and non-partisan, OCAN aims to fulfill its purposes through a range of initiatives, including national and local gatherings, networking opportunities, educational resources, and training of attorneys to better serve the Church with its legal needs.
OCAN welcomes all active and retired attorneys, law students, and other legal professionals to participate. For more information about the Orthodox Christian Attorney Network and its initiatives, please visit www.OrthodoxAttorneys.org
