    The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America’s Program for Girl Delegates to the United Nations is seeking passionate, motivated, and committed high school seniors who are eager to engage in global diplomacy, advocate for gender equality, and represent the voices of Orthodox young women at the United Nations. This program provides an opportunity for young women to gain firsthand experience in international relations, global policy discussions, and leadership development.

    Find the application here: https://forms.office.com/r/DP4qtMXHJJ

    APPLICATION DEADLINE: Sunday, January 5, 2025

    With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, the GOA Girl Delegate Program provides a platform for girls to address issues related to rights of girls all over the world, their individual rights, and their beliefs through the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese at the United Nations.

    Working in partnership with girl-focused organizations from around the world, our goal is to ensure that there are consistent opportunities for GOA Girl Delegates to participate in events and advocacy efforts at the UN both virtually and in person at the UN Headquarters in New York City.

    Who is eligible for the program?

    Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

    • Seniors in high school;
    • Have an interest in justice issues (including but not limited to environmental issues, access to education, digital divide, human trafficking, etc.);
    • Be of the Greek Orthodox faith and a member of a parish.

    Please note that the program has a highly competitive selection process, and only a limited number of spots are available for this application cycle. The next application cycle will be announced during the Summer 2025.

    For more information, please contact Niki Devaris Morgulis at ndevarismorgulis@goarch.org.
