“Living the Beatitudes: Everyday Encounters on the Spiritual Journey” Spring-Summer 2020 Session

Source: Saint Catherine’s Vision

Beginning Monday, June 1st, 2020, SCV will be offering a nine-week series on the Beatitudes titled, “Living the Beatitudes: Everyday Encounters on the Spiritual Journey.” For nine consecutive weeks, five groups of co-facilitators will lead educational and spiritually supportive, teleconferencing groups for interested adults. We hope during this time of physical distancing, this diakonima will help participants experience more authentic connections with others who are also seeking to learn more about their faith “in the Everyday”.
Various aspects of Orthodox Christian spirituality, theology and/or psychology in everyday context will be the central focus of each group. Prayer, scriptural and/or sacred reading, reflection and group discussion will comprise the four main modalities employed to engage each weekly theme.
The application deadline is time-sensitive! Applications must be submitted by Saturday, May 30th.
