During their Fall Session at the Chancery in Syosset, NY, October 23 through 26, 2018, the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops confirmed the nomination by His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon of St. Vladimir’s Seminary Professor Archpriest Alexander Rentel as chancellor of the Orthodox Church in America. Source: Orthodox Church in America MIAMI, FL [OCA]  Funeral services for His Grace, Bishop Mark [Forsberg], 83, Former Bishop of Boston, were celebrated at Christ the Saviour Cathedral, 16601 NW 77 Court, Miami Lakes, FL on Thursday and Friday, January 11-12, 2018. Bishop Mark fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, January 8.
