The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America has released an interview with Metropolitan John of Pergamon. Metropolitan John was the Chairman of the Fourth Pre-Conciliar Pan-Orthodox Conference at Chambésy in 2009 and one of the signers of the Chambésy Decision. The conference in Chambésy led to the creation of 13 Orthodox Episcopal Assemblies around the world, including the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States.

The interviewed can be viewed here.

The Assembly hopes that this interview with Metropolitan John will help clarify the intents underlying the Chambésy decisions, and will be the first in a series of interviews with hierarchs who participated in the Conference at Chambésy.

The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America is a body of all active, canonical Orthodox bishops in the US. There are currently 53 bishops in the Assembly, representing the following archdioceses and dioceses in the US: Albanian, American Carpatho-Russian, Antiochian, Bulgarian, Georgian, Greek, Orthodox Church in America, Romanian, Russian, Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, Serbian, and Ukrainian. The Assembly was established to address the pastoral needs of Orthodox faithful, present a common and unified witness of the Orthodox Faith, and manifest the unity of Orthodoxy.

VERY GOOD BUT IT WOULD BE MUCH MIRE EFFECTIVE AND VALUABLE IF THE INTERVIEW WERE TRANSCRIBED AND ISSUED IN WRITING.
