Stanley Brittain, aka Father Isidore of Albany, was arrested Thursday morning on charges of encouraging child sex abuse after authorities said they were tipped off to his extremely disturbing material on his home computer.
An Oregon priest has been jailed after a raid at his home uncovered child pornography on his computer, according to police.

Up until last week police said the 39-year-old had served as a priest at St. Anne’s Greek Orthodox Church in Corvallis.
Reasoning for his leave was not provided by Albany police Cpt. Eric Carter.
“As of last week he has left the church so at this point in time, at the time of his arrest, he was still technically a priest with the Orthodox Church but not affiliated or associated with the church in Corvallis,” Carter told the Daily News.
A call to the church for comment Friday was not immediately returned.
Carter credited Brittain’s arrest to Oregon’s Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force who alerted police on Monday. The type and amount of evidence collected from Brittain’s home was not elaborated on, though Carter said, “Each photo or depiction is in of itself a charge.”
He was booked at the Linn County Jail on 25 counts of first-degree encouraging child sex abuse and second-degree encouraging child sex abuse.
Authorities said their investigation into Brittain is ongoing and they’re not yet positive he acted alone.
