BOSTON – If all goes well Saturday May 11, 2019 is expected to be the day when a new Archbishop of America will be elected by the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The Holy Synod will be in session from Thursday, May 9 to Saturday, May 11, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presiding.

The Synod accepted the written resignation of Archbishop Demetrios, which he submitted in person to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on Saturday May 4.

The Synod also decided to send a letter to the Archdiocese to ask the Archdiocesan Council and the Eparchial Synod for advisory opinions regarding the person to be elected, a process that is required by Article 13 of the Charter of the Archdiocese but which has not been exercised in the past. The Archdiocesan Council will be meeting Thursday and Friday, May 9 and 10 in Atlanta, Georgia.

  1. The people of the GOA have a problem! A leader of the GOA will be chosen by foreign bishops and the people of the GOA will be told, like it or not, this is YOUR GUY. WHAT SKATA! Don’t you people understand; NOW is the time to declare your autocephaly. You can’t wait. YOU must make your decisions for your own American Church, NOT FOREIGN BISHOPS! Do nothing and you and your children will suffer for years to come.

Take your freedom NOW! Orthodox Canon Law is on your side. Foreign bishops have no authority outside their own territory!

  2. Christ is risen!

Well, Istanbul and foreign interference in America by the schism creating Bartholomew and their band of wolves have shown and flew their “true colors” as the pirates of old. Because this involves American monies and properties I say “Hold on to your checkbooks, ATM cards and cash, maties”.

If you have slipped up before, now is the time to be very accountable unto God for each widow’s mite you are handing over to a foreign power to use at their interest and agenda! (St. Mark 12:41-44, St. Luke 21:1-4).

My missionary experience in the past in Miami with the Greek Orthodox Community who found being Orthodox Christians was more important than Greek monies had a temporary safety net in coming together with our Father George Gladky (+1989) and the OCA for a time in the mid to late 1970’s. Wednesday nights we had Bible studies of 50-89 people. Dr. Speropoulos was the leader of this movement. Problems then developed in finding a non-compromising clergy leader, but it was a step the people wanted and supported to be the first Greek Orthodox Church taken into the OCA.

Sunday, you could vote in your parishes to freeze all your monies due to the vote taken in Atlanta by the GOA representatives on Friday, May 10, 2019, asking for a minimum of one month to make this decision for a replacement to Archbishop Demetrios. Surely this can stand up in a court of law in America until you gather yourselves to do what is right in the sight of God and man.

2 current Metropolitans have their home base and banks in America. The Orthodox Church in America based in Syosset, New York with Metropolitan Tikhon (born in America) and the chancellor V. Rev Fr. Alexander Rental ([email protected]). Fr. Alexander’s father, a priest too, was important in my early life in Pennsylvania with the OCF and Pan Orthodox group Father Daniel Rental set up in Indiana, Pennsylvania with the University students of IUP north of Pittsburgh, Pa. It was here I first decided to attend for music and Russian language to meet my missionary goals in 1972. Our Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), is a kind, gentle and understanding monastic who received me for monastic tonsure in 2015. 2015 was the very special year of 1000 years between Kiev and Mount Athos monastics. Currently, the highest number of non-cradle born Orthodox in America are pious Orthodox Christians in the ROCOR with Metropolitan Hilarion (https://www.synod.com/synod/indexeng.htm). Attuned to this crisis at hand we step up our prayers especially to Our Lady of Tikhvin who appointed us and directs us now in the historic St. Augustine area of the so-called “Greek landing” from the 1760’s to the East Florida Shores and ask for your prayers and support for our Pan Orthodox Board, our recently relocated office at 4750 E.
